"No... why the fuck would I do that? And when would I even have chance?" Axel rolled his eyes and shook his head, finishing off his drink and giving Luke a look. He was difficult company. It was hard to be around him sometimes and it was even harder to read him. Everything could end badly at a wrong word or a dodgy thought and that left him feeling tentative.

He slid his phone into his pocket and gave the other a slight sigh. "Yeaaaah. Look, dude, you've got some issues and that's not so bad, I think it's part of your charm and all. The whole cute, psycho vibe? Not bad but I gotta head off. This was a fun date."

With mixed results but Axel really needed to go before he made a proper mistake here and got melted.
