Axel didn't care if people gave him a funny look, he was pretty under dressed but there was no official rules on dresscode and if he wanted to show up like some strange punk rent boy then that was his decision. He winked at the woman anyway, smiling playfully at her and ignoring the look she gave him. He wasn't at all into her, girls did nothing for him but it was always funny to flirt with the disapproving assholes.
"I said I'd come so I came. I always keep my word." Axel shrugged off his jacket and eyed the candle in the middle of the table, reaching out to idly hold his hand over it, feeling the feet brush against his hand. It tingled.
He looked at Luke and took in the way he had dressed and presented himself, it was kind of impressive how quickly he'd sharpened himself up. He seemed to be really taking this pretty seriously. Maybe he did mean it when he said he wasn't going to hurt him, even if this fell apart. Maybe.
"You look good, I like it. Very smart." He looked down at himself and laughed a little. "I don't own anything fancier, all my shit is back in Central."
